"My journey with Tanya began
when my husband and I signed up for bootcamp in 2000. After
completing the 12 week program and successfully obtaining my
goal weight, I realized I was still searching for something
more. Two and a half years later my search reconnected me
with Tanya when I enrolled in BodyArts Core Forms class (Power
Yoga Fusion). This was it - a defining moment in my

Carly started working with Tanya at 17 years old for her
first
BodyArt Bootcamp. She studied under Tanya's
guidance for 3 years attending daily
yogasana and
vinyasa pilates
classes and eventually taught classes at BodyArt. After
Carly graduated highschool, Tanya taught her weight training
and transformation nutrition to become
BodyArt
Certified. When Tanya took her studio on the road,
Carly and Michele, both BodyArt coaches, then opened their
own studio offering group yoga/pilates classes and carried
on the proven
BodyArt
Transformation Bootcamp method.

"I was in desperate need of a change in the health and
wellness department without even really knowing it. I spent
many years playing competitive sports which in turn spilled
over into everything I ever did. I was competitive in every
aspect of my life, with myself, with others, for others. It
was reeking havoc on my body and my emotional spirit.
Plagued with one knee injury after another I was left with a
gym membership that wasn’t proving to show me the results I
was looking for. When I first attended yoga my mind was
pretty much made up that if running on the treadmill,
spinning, lifting weights wasn’t doing the job yoga
certainly wasn’t going to do it for me! Boy was I
WRONG!Now, I know that
everyday my body and mind will meet new challenges, and it
does not matter how my pose looks (in life or on the mat),
it matters how it feels inside and out! As long as I give my
best in the moment and know that each day will be different
I am a success. Yoga and BodyArt Vinyasa Pilates have not
only changed my physical body, but my entire outlook on the
rest of my life.
